JUNIOR SECONDARY CAMP
Last Thursday and Friday the Junior Secondary students had their camp to Roses Gap in the northern Grampians. After an early start we arrived in glorious weather and began a series
of challenging and enjoyable activities. The giant swing was a great hit with the students and many of them faced their fear of heights being hoisted up to 19 metres before releasing themselves into free fall.
Abseiling also saw the students challenging themselves as they lowered themselves down a rocky cliff face to the encouragement of our instructor and their friends. The low ropes course, flying fox, canoeing and bush walking were also popular. Not so welcome were the ferocious mosquitoes which plagued us all afternoon and evening! A special highlight was Wes' 21st birthday which we celebrated numerous times with cakes, regular singing of 'happy birthday' and playing a few pranks. Thanks to all staff and students for a great camp.
