Vision Statement

Warrnambool Special Developmental School’s individualised programs will enable students to be as independent as possible –

that is, students will participate to the full extent of their ability, in decision making in all areas of their lives (school, community and home).

This will be achieved by parents, teachers, students and others working cooperatively as a multi-disciplinary team.

Curriculum will be relevant to the individual student’s needs and be firmly based on the use of practical, real-life programs, situations and activities.

In our positive non-competitive and caring environment the self-esteem of our students will be enhanced.  Every child deserves a quality education which will lead towards maximum participation, contribution and access to society.
