Duke of Ed
8 brave Duke of Ed students left the comfort of their homes on Wednesday for the annual Duke of Ed Overnight Hike. As witnessed in previous years, the Duke of Ed hike is never easy and this year was no exception! We started the 10km first day in 33 degree heat with not a breath of wind in sight. The students dug deep and powered to the finish, some breaking into a jog when they saw the bus in the distance. They cooked their own dinners on camp stoves and were pretty quiet in their tents that night! Day 2 as much more manageable with only 7kms to the 12 Apostles and in much more favourable conditions! Well done to Breeze, Sky, Raquelle, Jack, James, Brad, Harry and Josh Gurry for their efforts. Special thanks to Kate and Louise for all their help too!
